Notes From The Roaster

Discover Nensebo Refisa G2

Grown high in the Sidamo region at 1,850-2,000 meters above sea level, this Grade 2 Ethiopian lot from the Refisa washing station brings together exceptional terroir and meticulous smallholder care. Cultivated by 448 local producers tending wild landrace varieties across two-hectare plots, the cherries are hand-sorted, fully washed, fermented for 24-36 hours, and slowly sun-dried on raised beds for 8–10 days. The result is an exceptionally clean, vibrant cup featuring bright floral acidity, a light silky body, and complex layers of peach, rich butterscotch, black cherry, and black tea.
