Notes From The Roaster

Discover our exceptional coffee from the Chalchuipa region of Santa Ana: Finca Colomba Bourbon, grown at an altitude of 1500 metres by producer Mario Valiente. This SHB EP quality coffee, prepared using the “honey” process and dried on raised beds, offers subtle notes of red apple, cinnamon and flowers. With a target score of 86 points for 3 bags of 68, this limited-edition lot is perfect for discerning coffee lovers.

Finca Colomba has been an integral part of the Adolfo family for three generations, embodying a heritage that dates back to 1949. In that pivotal year, Adolfo McEntee inherited two properties nestled in the Cordillera de Llamatepec, on the slopes of the Santa Ana volcano. It was at this time that Don Adolfo began growing bourbon coffee trees on Finca Colomba and Finca San Francisco.
